The Alumni and Transition team at Carlbrook School will be winding down its travel season with a final trip next week to New York City. There, transition counselors Trevor Grimes and John Price will be visiting alumni students at both Hofstra University and the School of Visual Arts located in Manhattan. The trip comes after two recent visits of students, one to New England and the other to Chicago, IL.
Transition counselors Stefanie Sheldon and Trevor Grimes travelled to New England to meet with Carlbrook alumni who are currently attending the Tilton School in Tilton, NH and Cushing Academy in Ashburnham, MA. Meanwhile, Dean of Alumni and Transition Services, Alison Streeter and Transition Counselor, John Price, met with several students and parents in and around the Chicago area. Included in their stops were Hamilton School, North Park University and the University of Illinois at Chicago. The two also hosted a gathering for Carlbrook alumni parents.
Meeting with Carlbrook alumni is an enjoyable and important part of the Transition support offered from the school. The ATS team would like to express its appreciation for the gracious hosts of its many parent and student gatherings over the last several months.
